Two years ago, if you’d asked Arthur and Derek where they expected, ThreeSixty Supply Chain Group, would be in 2020, they would never have predicted it.
As Director of Supply Chain Solutions and Director of Project Services, respectively, at the supply chain consultancy, they forecast a team of five by 2020; it now stands at 12. And it’s an impressive group that includes three of the most experienced DC solution experts in the business, commercial and business case capability, and high-level project delivery capability across IT, integration, equipment, automation, property, operations, and CI/Lean/Six Sigma; all underpinned by a team of analysts.
While ThreeSixty turned two years old this week, most of the team has been together for over ten years, formerly building a successful solutions development and delivery capability in one of Australia’s largest 3PLs. They’ve come full circle, and are relishing being back together.
2020 alone has been a big year for ThreeSixty and its diverse group of clients, including an end-to-end supply chain strategy, DC solution and omni-Channel strategy for the Philippines largest fashion retailer; intralogistics support for one of Australia’s largest retailers; two automated DC solutions for Blackwoods; supply chain strategy and intralogistics and network solutions for Australia’s largest miner; and an intralogistics solution for a large food manufacturer. The list goes on.
Meeting a need in the industry for consulting support, where businesses know they have to transform their logistics and supply chains but lack the internal expertise and/or resources, ThreeSixty continues to offer complete end-to-end supply chain solutions or one or more components, depending on client need.
In addition, ThreeSixty has just launched its new website.
Managing such rapid growth despite Covid-19, has been a challenge – but a good one – and Arthur and Derek are excited about the future for ThreeSixty and the industry.
